T.C. Jackson was built on a foundation of hard work, craftsmanship, and a lifelong passion for building.

That work ethic started early. At just ten years old, I was already knocking on neighbors’ doors looking for small jobs — pulling weeds, washing cars, or taking out trash. By twelve, I had partnered with my cousin to start mowing lawns around the neighborhood. What began as a small summer hustle turned into a partnership that lasted for nearly fifteen years.

Even as a kid, I was always drawn to tools and working with my hands. After school I could usually be found in the garage building or repairing bikes, figuring out how things worked, and learning by doing.

During high school, that curiosity expanded into technical theater. While others were on stage, I was behind the scenes building sets, designing lighting, and running sound. It was another outlet for creating and problem solving — skills that would later carry over into construction.

In 2007, I began working summers as a carpenter, and that’s where everything really started to take shape. After graduating, I continued working full time for a small remodeling company where I learned the trade from experienced craftsmen who had spent decades perfecting their work. Those years were formative. The lessons I learned from those “old guys” — doing things the right way, paying attention to detail, and taking pride in the finished product — shaped the carpenter I am today.

After six years, I moved on to another company to continue growing my experience. Around that time I had already started T.C. Jackson in 2014, taking on smaller projects and building a client base. By 2017, the company took its major step forward as I committed fully to growing the business and serving homeowners throughout the region.

​

Today, T.C. Jackson focuses on delivering thoughtful renovations, quality craftsmanship, and projects built to last. From kitchens and bathrooms to major renovations and additions, every project is approached with the same principles I learned early on — work hard, do it right, and stand behind the results.
